Stuffed Figs

1 package dried figs

1 Cup Orange juice

1/2 Cup orange marmalade

2 tsp ground cardamom

2 tsp cumin

3/4 Cup Ricotta cheese

1/4 Cup sliced almonds, toasted

 

Slice figs in half lengthwise and simmer in orange juice for 10 minutes until softened. Remove figs to platter and add marmalade, cardamom and cumin to the pan. Stir and simmer until thickened.

Top figs with 1 -2 tsp of ricotta cheese. Drizzle with orange juice mixture and top with almonds.
